Based upon your glowing reviews of that company, I have made it a point to tag every GOEX trailer I see with recruiting flyers/cards. I figure their drivers need an eye-opener to a better life. In fact, I posted my stuff on 3 trailers yesterday (their drivers generally drop in a secured yard in the middle of the night and pick up their empty in an open/unsecured lot before pulling out of town), and 4 the week prior.

    bzinger Thanks this.

it is kind of a big deal on some occations. trucking isn't a one sided job, the companies also have to obey the employment laws and owe certain things to their employees in return. if they are ignoring drivers like that they are at a higher risk of losing lawsuits, all those ignored conversations could be used as evidence in the companies disregard for obey rules at workers expenses. especially like if the company is violating a rule at the drivers expense and soon as the driver asks about it, the driver is ignored or blocked. that could be used way against the company. the drivers are poor and companies rich in alot of circumstances there is no excuses for that behavior to exist from the companies.

what i said here might terrify my future managers if they read this, but i only mean it for positivity purposes. to make working places better overall for everyone. not trying to rattle any bird cages or create any kind of conflicts. many times what employees want, what employers want, what customers want, and what fmcsa wants, all could be completely seperate from each other. its good to find a way that can make each group reasonably happy.

Yep I have trouble getting a hold of anyone at my company. Funny how they will blow your phone up if they want to get a hold of you.

Here's a twist though. The most recent handbook says drivers are not required to use their personal phone for company business.
Hey thanks for saying I don't have to answer the phone when you call.

Van Wyk pulled similar crap with me when I gave me two week notice, and that was when I got in an argument with the two lying morons at their east coast office. When it came time to go home they had another driver give me a ride, but failed to mention that I was to team drive with him and he was almost out of hours. I told them I was almost out of hours after I had been driving a whole shift over night, and they told the other driver I had a full 11 available. I wanted to strangle those two idiots. The safety director wasn’t much help, in fact the management of that place were all either idiots or lying #######, especially Ron, jay, Leah and the shop manager.

I finally get home and a week month later as I was back working for a company I mistakenly returned to, one of the dispatchers from van wyk calls me repeatly asking why I’m late and where I was. I had to convince them I had quit there already. Even to this day when I’m going through Sheldon I still give the VW terminal a one finger salute.
