Here's a list I drew up, although it's certainly not authoritative. You'll find each of these carriers operate their own load board. The time listed is how long your authority must be (have been) active before your application for "onboarding" will be accepted. And providing that you must meet all of their other requirements as well.

    Uber Freight - immediate
    CH Robinson - 30 days
    Convoy - immediate
    JB Hunt - 3 months
    Amazon Relay - immediate
    Coyote - 30 days
    Schneider - 6 months

    TQL - immediate (unreasonable/joke rates)
XPO Connect - ? I forget the time req (unreasonable/joke rates)

If brokers are offering $2 what do you want to bet I could call a local carrier and get a load out of that market at $3 if not $3.50. I do it all the time. I kick a couple of the trucks and freight back and forth with other carriers steady. They have skin in it, if you don’t have trucks in the yard and employ truck drivers I don’t want to talk to you. If I can’t do something with the local guys mine are out. Tomorrow morning somewhere else looks good. I won’t deal with brokers. Usually I can get something decent out of the ####tyest market you name just by picking up the ####ing phone. Don’t know if you can tell, but I’m not a big fan of brokers. Just about anyone will at least talk to you if you own equipment. The same ones that say don’t call back 17 times a day. They don’t like brokers either, and they’re better people to know. Some of the carriers I deal with are guys I met going through the phone book hunting freight somewhere I’d never been before 40yrs ago. That broker and load board #### is not the way to go. Never had been.

If that were true you wouldn't be here begging your competitors for work.

Post your truck on the loadboards you are signed up for every time you are going somewhere. You will get phone calls from brokers* that are hard pressed to get the load moving so they will care less for the age of your authority.

*TQL will also call fishing for an idiot to haul for buck a mile.
