No, the free money the government was throwing out like chicken feed has all been spent. Now that money is in the hands that know how to hold on to it, invest it and manage it.

The free money recipients are still in shock thinking they may have to get a job. No more money, no more purchases. So, too lazy to go to work, they start smash and grab and brazen theft and shoplifting. There is no longer any fear of punishment or respect so why not take what you want.

Enough stuff gets stolen, suppliers don’t want to invest more to replenish inventory, freight demand reduces.

 

Supply chain is still an issue.

And the uk trains just went on strike.

On top of every country in the world banning some type of badly needed exports.
