Shoulder Fatality

So he lost control on the shoulder

 

Yet he wrecked on the highway..

 

If you are on the interstate and you run off the road into the woods, is it a shoulder accident, since that's the last part of the road you were on when you looked up from YouTube?

 

just curious would that driver's company call that a preventable or not. I had one preventable and was fired on the spot. Also even though it may not have been the trucker's fault he will have a DOT accident on record where mine wasn't dot reportable and probably suffer the same consequences as me.

 

This is true I have opinions. However, as someone else already posted the evidence. This is a fact, not an opinion.

When someone backs into a travel lane. That geographically places it off of the shoulder. SMH

 

i hope he does not lose his job. he may however "need" some sort of counseling since someone died, and he was involved. just not his fault. we will never know how each person can handle such an accident. and i hope no one ever has to find out.
