Driver Fatally Stabbed After Giving A Ride To Suspect

Terrible, just goes to show you don't give anyone a ride.

 

Probably tried to rob him when he got in the truck, and when the driver refused, decided to stab him to death. Don't let anyone get in your truck, even if it's a woman. I lock my door/roll windows up even if I'm just fueling and standing 2ft away from the cab. If the driver had a gun on him he might still be alive too. I don't care what policy companies have on guns. I'm bringing mine with me.

Just a reminder, there are some crazy people out there. There’s a gruesome video of a guy giving someone a ride and the guy just was looking for someone to attack and stab. Didn’t even rob him.

 

Yup its why absolutely no one i dont personally know will ever get into my rig. Dont care if its a random guy, a down on his luck vet, a pretty woman standing in the rain or the soccer mom from hell with 6 kids.

Imposible to tell who is ligit and who wants you dead.

 

Last person I gave a relocation to was a mid or latter 20 something woman from the Lonoke Valero Truckstop, exit 175, I-40, Arkansas.
She stated going West and I told her I was "going west" yet on I-30 to I-635 for DFW.
I mentioned the "J" at X-7 and she said "that would be fine to get outta this place".
She had a couple of bags and didn't stink like long time road travelling.
We got on road and she went into sleeper till I stopped at the J.
I said "if this place ain't for ya, there's some other places near Dallas" where she said "this is good".
She was the LAST "passenger", probably in early '18 and I was OFF The Road by April, '18.

Young Soldier, early '17, startled me at Nobles Truck Stop, X-5, I-20, Georgia.
I was scratching the Glass, Daylight, and he just walked around the truck and said Hi.
Whether or not he was actually a Soldier was irrelevant.
He needed a Ride To Birp-ing-ham, AL., to get up with his father, who, as well, was another west bound Trucker.
