Its only a matter of time until i see someone pull out a lawn chair and Bar-B-Q in front of their truck on the fuel island during their break.
Hanging out at the fuel island.

Some time back there wastalk of Little America Wyoming booting trucks that overstayed on the fuel island. $200 to get it removed. At the time, their management said yes, they do have the boots. But they hadn't used them. YET. This was August 2020 and I have no idea what's going on there now.
With the current crops of new drivers coming on the problem can only get worse. The big busy stops are going to be forced to address the issue. How? Who knows.ProfessionalNoticer, D.Tibbitt and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
Dude, get off your high horse. My whole point of me responding to you that way is because I remembered you specifically arguing in that thread against the state of Nebraska building more rest areas and in that same thread, you went on to laugh (by typing "lol") about stealing other drivers paid parking spots because "some truck stops don't check or won't enforce the policy". So you wanted no more secure parking built from the state of Nebraska but you laughed about stealing paid parking spots from other drivers. Makes sense.
So don't come in here acting all Holier Than Thou buddy, that ship has long sailed for you.Last edited: Jun 27, 2022

Look I think some of you are blowing what I'm doing way out of proportion. At MAXIMUM I'm delaying (or stealing or taking, however you want to say) 10 minutes of another drivers time. Again, I'm combining the on duty fueling time with the off duty time afterwards to make the 30 minute break. I think some of you are acting as if I'm fueling and then taking the full 30 minute break afterwards. No, that's not the case and I explained that clearly in my posts (unless it's late at night during off peak periods, then it doesn't matter how long I sit at the fuel island). On Duty Fueling Time + Off Duty Time afterwards is what I'm combining to equal 30 minutes and to equal my 30 minute break.
And look if I have to wait behind someone for 15 minutes before I can fuel, then when I pull up to fuel after I finish I'll pull up and only take a few minutes to wash my hands and use the bathroom. No need to stretch out my time to 30 minutes if my 30 minute break (AGAIN, On Duty Time + Off Duty Time) is already complete.
90% of drivers do this already since the new rules came into effect where you can use On Duty Time to count as the 30 minute break. It's hardly controversial. You guys are blowing what I'm doing way out of proportion. Instead of getting angry about it, just use it to your advantage like most of us already do. -

Take it easy and ask yourself if you would speak like this to someone in real life, based off your own physical size. We are having a discussion, calm down. -
