If you're going LTL and doing P&D you should be starting in the mid 20's per hour range with zero seniority. Unfortunately a lot of companies don't pay OT after 40 hours (Estes and Old Dominion are OT after 50-52 hours if I'm not mistaken), although many do as well. Can't speak for tanker or other local type of work.

South Texas here. Got a gravy/unicorn like gig right now. $1500 avg per week. Monday thru Friday, weekends/holidays off and breakdown days pay the same as a day worked. I haven't slept in my truck in a month, but we have a sleeper cab for a layover here and there. I don't work for a major carrier, but I do pull for one if that makes sense. This industry is what you make it. Once the kids are in high school and college I want to go pull those big windmill blades and triple my income. I hope my eye sight lasts till then lol.

1300-1500 per week. That's $26 per hour for 50-55 hours per week m-f and OT after 44 hours. This is the minimum that any decent, honest company would pay a driver.
