Is there any item that you cannot live without while driving, I just started so I want to buy whatever I need now and where you got them from would be helpful too, thank you.

Miners headlamp for pre-trip, etc. at night.
Decent prices at Walmart Online Shopping.
I'd get one with LED lighting.

Condoms, adult movies, and some snacks are just a few....

I'd also carry some tools, glass cleaner, and notebooks.

What to carry with you can depend so much on the time of year and the type of driving you do. Years ago when I crossed a state like Wyoming if it was in the winter I carried emergency food. In the summer I would just carry a few snacks. I was always more conservative when it come to what I carried. A few hand tools and duct tape. A good flashlight and a good pair of boots to wear over my shoes when walking around at night and in bad wet parking lots. In the early days, I carried a very cheap backup CB radio. If my primary went out I got it fixed on my next hometime.

Just as a reminder, there are lots of threads on this subject here.

    Boondock and shamwow4 Thank this.
