I have seen Cascadias online with dual stacks (straight piped) and some Freightliner make a slight noise when they remove the muffler, I want to see will it make a noise like how the KW and Peterbilt do? I know you can convert it into duels. Wondering will it sound different with the def delete. Or does it depend on the year of your truck?

(Fyi: Planning on putting them on a daycab)

It's a turbocharged inline six diesel engine - same as the other trucks. It will sound roughly the same.

I love the sound of a straight-piped diesel, and when I put on dual stacks, they're straights. It was cool for about two days. Now that sound for 11 minutes, much less 11 hours is enough to make me want to buy a toe trigger for my shotgun. You need to plan on some kind of muffler or spool.

So therefore it is a deleted truck, or a glider?
There is no muffler on a standard Cascadia as the dpf filter does the job for it.

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.

Rain caps and a Cascadia. Name a more iconic duo.

Trucks haven't had mufflers since about 2007.5. DPF takes care of that.

All you'd be doing is routing the outlet of the aftertreatment box into a Y-pipe and up 2 stacks. From an aesthetic standpoint, 2 fake stacks would be easier and have the same effect.
