I have an old Crete trailer and the tracking system is still attached. 2013 model year.

 

I will update if and where I go but I've asked for a new am from Mike and terminal 4 times now and get told your miles are fine, which I have to fight for and it's getting old to have to call and go to the principles office to complain... Miles went from 2800 to 3000+ to 2200 to 2600... gets frustrating... so it's about valuing your time and being paid for it... got my list and speak to drivers from those prospect fleets (extra board ltl, fuel, cryo, few dedicated accounts)... if your a runner and get shorted miles we should get guaranteed weekly pay 2800 x your cpm is what I was promised... my mentor at this company had left a year ago!

 

Groendyke is hiring out of jacksonvile and they run to tx via i10 and believe they have a terminal in East tx... look into linde, Matteson, LGT, Oakley, foodliner, Venezia, etc

 

I've been talking to drivers for a while ask bumper I harassed him about cardinal logistics! Have a some folks at other outfits

 

You know, I've talked to Shaffer drivers on the road and have heard mostly good things about the company. I'd been considering signing up. I came here thinking I was hearing mostly grievances from malcontents that would never be happy even if a good job and paycheck bit them in the ###. But I think you guys finally won me over.

 

About that... they must not update or something. I was supposed to pick up a trailer at a customer and take it to a shop to have something fixed, anyway got to the customer, trailer wasn't there. At all. Dispatch was sure it was, even gave a pretty specific location on customers lot, but no trailer. Luckily I had dropped an empty so just rehooked and got on with my day.

 

Yeah I understand for a company your size it would be costly to tag all trailers, but as much as you drop and hook one would think it’d be worth the time…

 

Every day you make me happy that I did not come back.

 

Short term pain for the driver. Doesnt effect them in the least.
