Avoid SB I-75 in Northern Georgia until Friday

That stretch of 75 between Cartersville and Atlanta is notorious for some serious accidents,including fatalities!

 

Looks like again failure to pay attention to what’s going on in front of them

 

thats the same stretch where the fed ex truck went off an overpass and landed on I-75 a few months ago.

 

I DESPISE I-24... all of it. And I-75 from where it meets I-24 at least to Cartersville. I mostly run nights, so ATL doesn’t twist my nipples near as bad as it used to. There is some real idiotic driving that goes on in those areas, as well as every time KY works on the stretch of I-24 around Ft Campbell, it gets worse. If I have time, I just get off of I-24 south of Nashville, and either run over to Missouri on back roads, then North, or Come back onto I-24 around the state line.
