Driver should be getting paid miles and stop off. It's annoying, but doesn't really change my income for the week.

You're coming across as being dopey. That's okay. I just don't like the term "assault rifle". And I've been thoroughly entertained be reading SSB travels as well as other Shaffer/Crete driver posts. It's sad but fascinating at the same time. I definitely know that I can't do what he and others do. My hat is off to SSB.

Venezia doesn't operate out West but is a very good company. Would have to move to Pennsylvania if I wanted to work for them.

Tried others on this list before but always same answer. Live to far from a terminal tlbur the moment I can get an address closer I can come on board.

Won't do fuel cause I'm to paranoid of blowing up

Like tanker cause every customer is a happy customer and for the most part are paid for all your time. Few years ago someone from Trimac posted he went to his customer on Friday and the tanks were full. Customer doesn't run weekends so told to come back on Monday. He was paid an hourly rate EVERY hour till he got empty. So that's was like $20/hour, while sitting at a truck stop. Customer was billed around 60 hours or so. If that was crete you would have to fight even to get layover. They would either get approval to take to a drop yard or just tell you to wait at a truck stuck for free the whole weekend.

Tanker does have bad points but do to the nature of what is bring hauled, are a tad more organized.

But Schneider :p they probably a lot better than 3 years ago but I still have flashback of getting rejected at almost every place cause I wasn't informed I needed a form faxed to me.

I'm debating if it's worth relocating to the Houston area. I'm using a family address right now so am paying no rent but whatever job I get would have to be worth $1200/month increase in expenses. Probably having a lot less stress would be worth that :p

If you relocate to Houston check out fuel hauling gigs. They pay by the hour and they pay well. Buddy of mine makes $32 an hour, gets overtime after 40 hours and usually gets close to using his full 70 hours. Fuels frac sites.

Schneider built their Dallas Yard right across from us in Wilmar so whenever I'm parked there all I see is pumpkin.

Sorry for all tanker yankers at Schneider after my time cause I'm the one who sent my Safey guy at the Houston Terminal a video of what happens when you put the wrong product in the wrong tank and now it's a video every new hire has to watch.

Now back to what's wrong with creefer equipment. Looks like my 4 way button went and died on me. The Flying J I fueled at has huge dips all over the yard where you exit and after tossing around for a sec, all my button lights started flickering like thr 4th of July. Once they stopped my 4way light went out and pushing that in does nothing so no 4 ways on truck.

Also the reefer I picked up has a dead display light. No green/amber light to let you know everything is ok.
