Swap d12 volvo engine

    I have 2007 D12 volvo engine and want to swap to isx cummins engine is it possible

    Yes,. Anything is possible with the right tools and money and a mechanic with experience in this type of work.

    Your best best for a swap like this is finding a complete donor truck of the same years that the ISX-15 was available and then use that donor truck to get every single part that you need.

    You will obviously need the engine, engine wiring harness, pieces from the body harness, any emissions components, the ECM, engine mounts, fuel system pieces, etc. Any fuel lines I would buy new because 2007 was 15 years ago and those lines are getting pretty old.

    If the truck has no DPF from factory I'd try and swap a C15 in long before an ISX. At least the CAT wouldn't need EGR valves and VGT turbos every year or two, before finally sinking a liner at 600k.

    A C15 whether it be a 6NZ or an ACERT is going to be a little harder because I don't remember a Volvo with a C15. I'm sure you could make it run but getting the instrument cluster and instrument panel working and cooperating is going to be a task.
