    Hi
I'm in process of accepting an account from Swift Otay Mesa (San Diego Mexico border) terminal.
Wondering if someone can tell me if there is parking for drivers private car. According google reviews it is "park trailer in yard, park bobtail in street!" but nobody said where they park their own car, if they start and end their trip in that terminal.
I tried to call them and ask but call doesn't go thru.

I'm a Swifty and been there several times, although probably been over a year since I was there.
If you go to Google maps, type in Swift Otay Mesa and switch to satellite view, at the terminal you'll notice a car sized parking lot in the Northwest area of the terminal. Looks like it has about 50 car parking spaces. Unsure what restrictions may apply to parking your POV there. But, physically there is a parking lot for cars there.

That was my terminal about a decade ago for a few years, but I didn't have a car to park there. Can't help with that aspect.

If your calls won't go through, what about when you really need to speak with someone while working?

The area in general is a high risk area, but the terminal is out of the way so it shouldn't be that bad parking your car there.

I'll bow to personal experience, but the lot is literally touching the Mexican border. Of all places I would have to be convinced that it was in fact safe.

I recently bought a used car.
    25 years old, $2,500.
And I sure would not want to leave it in Otay Mesa for the month I am out.

Any car that sold for $500 would be almost dead in a scrapheap.
