Mystery and ghosts on the road, strange unexplainable sightings?

I have to story's .
Back in 99 I was coming out of needles headed to Barstow at around 1-2 in the morning , just got over the big hill and was cruising pertty good , about 75 , no lites behind and none in front so good to go , or maybe not.

Back then cb's were the thing and mine was working fine , we'll here's where it gets interesting.

i guess I started falling asleep , you know that head bobbing thing , so I drink some more coffee , stir around the seat and then back staring out the window..... well then the cb speaker starts saying " Pete , hey Pete" , and i'm thinking who is Pete, and forget about it, right? Well a couple moments pass by , wheels are humming , breathers are whining , and then clear as a bell at full blast , cb goes " HEY PETE , WAKE UP !!!" Head pops up , hearts pounding , frickin aderenaline kicks in , and I'm about to go off the road into a mountain side !!!!
Anyways , steered it back onto the road and pulled over to pull the fabric out of my ### , cause that scared the hell out of me.
After calming down , a cig or two , got back in and headed to Barstow.

But the kicker was , no-one was out there , either WB or EB and not a light anywhere , and we all know cb's can't talk by themselves

 

Next one was driving through Nebraska one night .
Now this was when I first started and the truck only went 55.
Anyways , around 2 in the morning I started seeing drawbridges.
Yep. About every 8-10 minutes I'd see a drawbridge open up , I'd pass under it and then in the mirror I'd see it close
I think after about the 5th or 7th one , I finally got the hint and pulled over and went to sleep.
Guess they have magical bridges up there.

I'm pertty sure others have had similar happenings too. Be cool to get them on here.

Well , that's a good question .
From all the stories I've heard , if you do see it , you are gonna be dying pertty soon.
Maybe in a truck or at home , but it's a bad omen for sure
