    A lot of folks who have a similar mindset would feel the same way. We all want our heroes and (most of us) support and defend the police......it's a tough, thankless, and frankly, underpaid profession.
    That said, many, many of us have been on the wrong side of the former high school bully who now has a badge and a gun and, in entirely too many situations, impunity and the "blue line".

    At the end of the day, my objection was never about the shoot, per se, it was mostly about the necessity of shooting a guy 60 +/- times.

    Perhaps my title of this thread was unfortunate. But perhaps not.

    Lying under oath(especially when testifying in a court of law) is as real world as it gets. And the consequences of that are severe. We’re still dealing with the fallout from the young lady who falsified and testified on DNA evidence in the courtroom. That has led to numerous convictions being tossed and lawsuits six ways to Sunday!

    It's been shown. The audio from the cruiser and the muzzle flash from the traffic camera. Perhaps If you guys watched the video from the press conference. Better yet. The one from Tatum. He gives step by step clarification of the events.

    You really should go watch the YouTube channel"Audit the audit" It will open your mind about how many bad apples there really are.
    Not saying everyone is a bad apple, but enough are that it's a problem that needs to be taken care of.
