I've heard nothing but positives about Big Moe Spring And Alignment in Austell, but never used them myself. They work on all sorts of heavy duty trucks and machinery I believe. Their name comes up anytime suspension and alignment work gets discussed around the area.
Another option might be Burt Brothers Tire and Alignment in Doraville. No link because it's an old school place that hasn't changed much since it opened, probably when Buford Hwy was a dirt road. I had them align a lifted Chevy 2500 to my specs once and was satisfied with the service. Never took my big trucks there, but have seen larger straight trucks and tractors in their bays.
ETA: I've been familiar with Burt Bros for over 30 years. Back when I was young and dumb, I managed a place that's now something else, right where Amwiler Rd dead ends into Buford Hwy. Back then the place next door was still a Dairy Queen. The neighborhood has changed, Burt Bros looks exactly like it did in 1987-ish when I went to work up the road from them. That was where we sent customers (cars/pickups) that needed tire/alignment work. Jimmy Carter and that whole Norcross/Doraville corridor was a different retail environment back then. Used to be more retail down toward Chamblee than the other way toward Jimmy Carter, if that tells you anything. Now it's derelict big boxes that's been turned into swap meets and such.
I believe the repair shop I usually use subs out alignments to Akins Ford in Winder. Not positive since it's been a while and the trucks are long gone. I don't recall there being any problems. Probably should call before bringing in a KW cabover. The trucks I did get done there (I think) were '07 KW T600 and Pete 387.
I'm sure there are others, especially on the south side - Moreland Ave and Forest Park areas. I just don't do a lot of repair business down there, and don't pay attention when passing through.
Hope that helps.Last edited: Jul 5, 2022
