Looking for information on the 902L yokohama super single. Had a flat in the middle of nowhere montana. And the only tire available was a yoko. So I took what I could get. (First place came out with a michelin trailer tire trying to tell me it was an ap)
But the tire I got was an old stock yoko ty517 . Can't find a match anywhere. But the 902L are available.
Just don't know how they will match with the one 517. Any opinions? Should I just bite the bullet and get 4.

Ive always been a fan of a matched set... But that's not always necessary.

How much life do your other 3 have left? I’d lean toward replacing all four when you’re home if the other 3 have enough tread to make them worth trying to sell. I like matched tires but I’m also mildly OCD about stuff like that.

Thing I learned in the last year. It’s not a a bad idea to use what is common with high restock. Oil, tires, lights, etc..if it is not one of the most popular stocked items for your class of operation you may have difficulties these days. You may be happy with your niche part that you like until you need a replacement. I run common tires and if there is a issue with wear from mismatched and it gets to bad they retread to become trailer tires by my local retread shop.

Yeah my front drives are ready, michelin and they are having some crazy wear on inside lugs 250k on them. . So I'm going to swap them to the yoko 902L, I may just buy 3 of them and change out the half tread Bridgestone I have on there.
The ty517 has a nice tread pattern on it. I'm assuming the 902L is the same?
