2022 Peterbilt steering shudder, Pete techs say this is normal

The so-called best truck in the world having problems.

That's been going on for decades.

Peterbilt stinks, the product stinks, the support stinks, the service Stinks...

But they have great marketing. And this is not directed toward the op, but their marketers have convinced people that an overpriced hunk of junk that has terrible support and terrible service and everything is outrageously expensive is the best that you can do for yourself.

Great marketing for a crappy product. That's why they don't have any parts and they can't give you any support because everything goes into marketing. The best truck ever made, lol. Okkk....

And no offense to anyone, but Peterbilt just has the attitude, "well you have a Petro bilt. I did my job, I sold you the petro bilt. I know they're junk, you know they're junk, we all know they're junk, so just wear your belt buckle and sit at the lunch counter and smile and everyone will Envy you and there's your money's worth. The point is the belt buckle is the highlight of your journey. The rest of it goes downhill from there.

And unfortunately unless you really become creative with how you complain, Petro bilt is not going to help you because they did you the favor of permitting you to have the honor of having a Peterbilt.

That's right, they did YOU the favor of giving YOU the HONOR of having a Petro bilt.

And now unfortunately you get all the garbage that goes along with that so-called honor. What more could you possibly ask of them? They gave you the honor of having the best truck ever made.

They did YOU the favor. You actually owe them. That's why they will not help you.

My pro star was doing that.... had the steers re-Balanced (they were 3 months old) fixed it

Are the fuel tanks step mounted under the cab close to steer axle? Seems like most trucks that were/are that spec shake the wheel on bumps more violently.

 

I don’t want to put words in his mouth and this was back in 2019 but I recall Chad saying something about Peterbilt was shipping trucks with certain front axles at a different caster and that was causing some bump steer. He put wedges in my front end and made it the way they used to be and it fixed mine.

 

If the road is rough that dosent look too bad to me. Good luck with it.
