ok so here’s more sound advice, the wash bucket at the fuel island shouldn’t be used to cleanse the interior your tractor with a sponge. My boy caught this scene today in Ohio. Unfortunately no video, just stills but our perp is white and of undetermined nationality so all you race baiters that claimed racism when I posted a video of gentlemen washing their feet at the fuel island can go jump in a lake. I don’t care what spilled inside your truck using the wash bucket to clean it is just gross. Go inside, get a gallon of clean spring water and use that.

He’s using that nasty water full of bugs, road grime, and possibly 5th wheel grease to clean the inside? I carry one of those sponge mops, cleaning detergent and have a small bucket to do any quick cleans.

I dunno - I don’t see the problem. It’s his truck, his life - how is it affecting you or I?

I remember seeing a guy wash the inside of his windshield and doors with the squeegee and bucket.

“That’s different “ - I thought, and went and drove my truck, completely unaffected.

I saw some guy use one of those buckets to fill up his coolant reservoir once.

It’s indicative of the absolute stupidity of what we deal with out here and he is blocking the fuel island. I don’t care if he washes the interior of his truck with a bucket of rancid possum urine, but don’t block the fuel island and slop that nastiness all over where others have to utilize. What kind of decisions do you think he makes behind the wheel of that Volvo when he makes a decision like this. Not the type of person I like sharing the road with.

Saw this this beauty last night.

I used to carry a garden hose in the tractor for use at the fuel island when cleaning my windshield. One day, a guy wanted to use it to clean his tractor floor. Never seen that before.

I get it, I really do. Maybe I’ve just given up on stupid. I’m not allowed to kill it. Most of the time it wouldn’t understand why the bullet hit it as the life drained from its eyes.

I’m jaded anymore - if it’s not causing any bodily harm to myself or others, I just go on.

I’m tired of diving to the shoulder every time Dummy runs into my lane, messing with his phone.

I’m tired of muppets using the fuel island for anything but fueling.

I’m not these fools mother - I can’t dress them appropriately every morning.

I can’t control states that issue CDL licenses to folks that aren’t fit to hold one.

18 years driving in this great nation, and the words of the drivers , when I started in 2004 - still ring in my ears.

“This industry is going to *%#^”

They weren’t wrong. And that was 18 years back - and it hasn’t improved.

All I try to do is uphold the old school rules that I learned, and congratulate others that do.

I’ll pick the hill I die on at some point, but an altercation at a fuel island over an issue like this probably isn’t that hill.

I really wish every single new entrant had to pass a ‘courtesy test’, before being handed the keys. Or at least be forced to read this forum for a week.
