A guy just pulled up to me in a new GMC Denali suv, you know the $100,000.⁰⁰ kind on 22" wheels and asked for gas money!!! If there was ever an indication of a economic downturn I'd have to say I just witnessed it first hand.

 

Some time ago I had a driver ask for change but had $300 Jordan’s and a bmw key fob.

Rates have been good for me, except for trying to get out of CO, MT, and ND. I used to always manage something decent out of these places but its a challenge now. Doing a $4.20 per mile 1700 mile load to Billings because I need to go home for a few days. Not looking forward to finding a load out of ND.

Also seems there are less and less good paying non tarp loads. Im only carrying 4ft. Might have to find a spot to carry my 8ft as well soon.
