That’s the first trailer like that I’ve seen with a hitchhiker on it. That’s genius.

 

What were in the gliders engine wise?

They were all Cat’s. 475’s, no crazy tunes or anything.

 

@PSM379 The older gliders I mentioned were actual gliders built from wrecked trucks. I don’t recall the exact years they were but both were assembled by 05 when I was there the first time. When I sold my truck and went back in 2017 he had two of these assembled from rolling gliders. Then in late 2018 or early 2019 he had two more assembled. Those two have never been on the road and the new trailers they’re pulling haven’t had a load on them. It’s kind of sad but I understand the whole tax deal. Plus he had 5 Peterbilt 388 gliders with 48” flattops assembled when KW wasn’t building gliders. Cliff still drives one himself, two of them got wrecked, and I’m not sure about the others.

My former MIL used to order trucks for the electric coop. I recall her saying they were going with white versus the bright yellow scheme they always had because it was like a $4500 upcharge for the colored paint versus white. And this was on GM 7500 cab/chassis in the late 90's/early 00's.
