My ELD is showing I need to take 34hr reset on Friday but I didn't run Saturday through Monday. Did I miss something I thought any time your off duty for 34hrs it resets itself. Seems like it's going off last weeks reset schedule completely ignoring the 3 days of off duty. Keeptruckin eld. Help?

Reboot it & see if it corrects the problem. I have to do that with peoplenet when it acts up.

Your old display should show a line through the grid marking 34 hours since you last drove and went off duty, it will only show it once. The recap will show either 60 in seven days or 70 hours in eight days available after the reset has been met, but not before.

It shows i have 63 hours available today and 55 tomorrow but also says 34hr reset tomorrow. Tried reboot still the same. I guess I will see what it does in the morning. Really limited my options not knowing what it's going to do.

If it tried to force me into an unwarranted 34, I'd go on paper until I could fix it

An ELD can’t “force” you to do a reset. I have Motive also and all it’s ever shown was a green line through the grid when your 34 was completed. What does your screen look like saying that you have to restart?

A reset simply resets your clock to 70 available hrs, it just means you had 34 hours off duty and sleeper since you were last on duty. Meaningless unless you are running hard enough to bump the 70.
