So yesterday morning I delivered south of Atlanta. Got an empty, waited a bit, no preplan. Headed to a truckstop and got a washout. Got breakfast etc. Still nothing. 3hrs after I sent in my empty call I let dispatch know I was ready for a load. Finally get something, rejected because it didn't pickup until 1600. It was 1000 at this point and I'd gotten going around 530 to beat traffic. About 10 min later get asked to drop my empty in Rome, Georgia(nw of Atlanta) and bobtail down to deland. Ok, get going. Get back through Atlanta and to the customer. Oh we don't need/have room for the empty. let dispatch know. Get sent to coke on the south side of Atlanta. Ok head BACK through Atlanta again, deal with that customer. Get south shutdown for the night. Make it to Deland, of course no empties. so now sitting waiting. I used up all my luck by some miracle not hitting any traffic in Atlanta yesterday. Ugh though I remember why I don't like doing hometime down here

 

I don't think so. He said he's going flatbedding

 

Combined has tractors with super singles. Combined is off the list.
