Better get that Mount fixed, if you get a nice piece of work for a DOT inspector. ELD’s must be in a permanent mount and be visible while driving.

If we have the TWIC status we should get a potion of the money saved on hiring escorts. I thought about getting it but I’ve never needed it yet.

Should be an easy fix. Just replace the new holder on the old mount.

But ya, thanks for the reminder.

Amazon sells Ram mount stuff. You just have to watch, they sell more than one diameter ball mounts.

The part number is usually right there on the arm. I personally put a shorter arm on mine from my pile of RAM mount stuff I used to mount portable GPS units in various aircraft over the years. The thing moved around less that way. I pretty much had mine just about touching the trim on the dashboard. Didn't have to keep tightening the dog bone to keep it from wiggling around after that.

Sometimes you just can’t understand some people!
About two years back during the pandemic we truck drivers were there heroes….Now the governor of Connecticut says….”You are going to pay for destroying my roads!”
