2016 Volvo d13 asking regen after regen.

    I hope it is as small of an issue as changing the filter. I should have done when first signs appeared.

    On a 2014 I had , the insulation in the pipe to the dpf had come loose and face plugged the dpf filter causing the need for one regen after another.

    The dash message will say that soot level is high or critically high if it's your DPF. If you're getting codes for NOx, SCR, or low quality DEF, it's going to be something else.

    Parked regen required message shows up with either of those instances, but in one instance it's to burn soot, in the other it's to evaluate the NOx levels during the regen.

    You need to check dpf pressure sensor for any sign of cracks
