I see numerous threads every week from military veterans, whether transitioning out to the civilian sector or those who are already out of the military but had experience while in that they don't know qualifies them for perks at various carriers. Is it possible to get a "Military Trucking Forum" or "Transitioning Military Trucking Forum" for these topics? It could be a one-stop shop for all the questions and answers those in this unique situation face. After all, there are those that don't know about the military waiver for performance testing and ELDT, that companies exist who will count their years driving for Uncle Sam towards their pay or experience, or even the apprenticeships available from places like Schneider that will allow them to draw upon their MGIB while driving for their first year to supplement their income. in addition, it would be a place for those who are experienced in operating the military's unique trucks to answer questions for everyone else, like the capabilities of the M1070/M1000 Heavy Equipment Transport.
Just tossing the idea out there.
