I have taken bottled water, like pint size, shoot it on the drum/brakes over and over again. To get the stuff cooled down. The water boils real quick. My team driver almost killed us in WV by smoking the brakes. In Texas I had a trailer tire smoke, oil field water hauling. I pulled off the road in Ohio, did it there. My Jake's quit and had a hot tire, put water in the drum to cool it down quicker. Water works very well. Don't breathe in the drums.

Unloading car tires sounds like misery. Why don't they make an attachment on a forklift that can scoop them up?

Looks like a live floor trailer would work great for those.

Oh wow ! Shows how much I know about it. I picture just a bunch of tires randomly throw in the trailer? Do they get loaded by hand?
