Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

OK someone doesn't know how to check drivers hours at this company.

Currently out of hours at my current customer. 630am appointment and arrived at 4am. Curreently 8am and still in the staging area waiting for a door....

Now onto the issue at hand. Get a msg from the person who sent that weird pu empty for next load msg. Current run to Oakland was removed and a new load was put on.

A 10am live load in Greeley headed to Wilmington CA this time. Simply said they changed my load so I can make a am appointment.

Sadly they must not of realized my 14 hour clock is out at the moment. Simply declined the load which they have yet to remove off me or switch back.

Things like these are what get on people's nerves.

Edit - was finally removed and switched back to original preplan.

Now all that remains is for Safeway to hurry up and get me a door.

 

Just got a call from Crete Recruiting Dept. Said something about losing the best driver they'd had in ages and looking for 10 guys to replace him. I politely declined even though I'm relatively close to Lincoln. I just hope they're able to weather this storm.

 

With the attitude i got from them trying to have discussion about whats going and such, I don’t think they care…

 

I spoke with them about a regional W-M account about 2.5 yrs ago when I was looking for a regional gig. Since then they blow my phone up and I don't even answer. Moved on and doing my own thing....just think it's funny how often they call.

 

Just got a door at 1030. Yard move failed me and it recorded drive sadly. After looking at when I'll get a 10 in, I don't think I'll even make the new apt time for delivery.

After telling dispatch I won't make it, I'm now to drop it at our salt lake terminal. God speed to whoever grabs it cause it will need to be rushed.

Load is a 42k meat load, if preplan is correct so probably won't even make it over there before running out of time.

Already 6 hours past apt and still not done. If they take any longer I'm going to have to park at the meteor crater drop yard cause there won't be any truck parking available.

 

Must be grading on a curve.

 

You might be thankful you are dropping it in SLC. The Oakland port is being picketed by drivers and is closed.

I think we still have access to the drop yard across the interstate from the dirt lot one. You'll have to get dispatch to send directions, Idk them off hand and think there's a gate code.

 

Crete is across the highway still..they need to dump voyager lot big time
