There is really not a thing you can do....I mean you're going to raise hell for 1800 dollars? You'll spend way more trying to recoup that. You need to know what you're getting yourself into. I did 1099 for a while, and signed a contract knowing what I was getting into. Yes they were taking advantage of me and I knew it, but on the flip side I needed to clean up my record and take care of my family. I left that company after nearly a year of the #### -ery. I drive for 2 different ones and they both owed me. So what? I got what I ultimately needed. This is going to be a hard one to swallow and a rather expensive lesson. Cut your losses, and go work somewhere else. Matter of fact, the time you're spending here trying to figure out how to recoup 1800 bucks, you could br making moves to secure your next job.

It was SUS Transport then after about a month they switched me over to CargoMax LLC. It's the same people though. I thought it was shady that they did that but they didn't really explain why.

You my friend are lucky YOU are not in jail at this juncture. The moment you realized you were falsifying HOS records is when you should have quit and reported this concern to the authorities.
I have absolutely NO sympathy for your plight.

I just turned 27, wasn't allowed to go to college and am poorly socialized so I can't do much but drive a truck. Was homeless most of 2021 even though I never have done drugs and don't drink alcohol or anything. I was just trying to save money as quickly as possible so I can buy a house. Now that I have a little over $30k in savings im gonna go chill in Indonesia or something, hopefully find some remote work.
But my point is you should have sympathy for me because I'm struggling just to survive. And $1200 could last me 5 months in indonesia if i'm frugal
