They ask do you want power, fuel economy, or combination. Originally when I went to Pittsburgh power last year they did a tune for power and fuel economy. The truck pulled like a totally different truck after the tune.

So a little up date with my dealings with Walmart corporate after one of their yard jockeys hit my truck last month. To my surprise a woman from the claims department reached out to me, asked that I get an estimate for the repairs. I sent an estimate and the check for the repair amount arrived today.

The only problem is that the repair shop said to do the job right they would have to remove the hood, paint it, and clear coat the whole hood to get it to match properly. The shop estimated the total job would take four to five days. So during my correspondence with the lady with Walmart, I agreed to compromise and asked for only three days lost revenue at $1000.00 a day.

Well the check that arrived today was only for the repairs and not my lost revenue. So I promptly emailed my contact and sent her this email. Part of me thinks I should be grateful they even sent the money for repairs, but I also feel I am in the right asking for lost revenue. Having gone to court over an accident, I can tell you that the judge awarded me damages for lost revenue.

Hold your ground. Their fault, not like WalMart is penniless...

Especially since they have already admitted fault by paying for truck damages.

Hold your ground. I am involved with an issue with a towing company messing my truck up. It has been several months and sure it will go to court in due time. Get what you deserve since it was not your fault.

Also have an attorney look at that check before you cash it. Most likely if you cash it you will be giving up your rights to get money for down time.

I’m not going to cash it until this lost revenue is worked out. In the letter with the check it said something like final payment regarding this issue. So definitely not cashing it.

Schneider tried that with me. ONCE...

They sent me a check... I sent it back and said NO you pay the shop directly that way if it comes in under or OVER the ESTIMATE.... that way if something comes up yiur not on the hook...

Tell them they owe you $1,000 a day for everyday your truck is down until it's finished....

Schneider tried to say it should only have taken 3 days fir the repair... it took 11

That’s fixed to what Schneider pays for their repair standards, just good enough to get on the road. Nothing more or how it looks
