Juuuuuuust a little suspicious. There's definitely going to be some tangled webs in this heist conspiracy.

I'll bet anyone a half-eaten donut one guard was to remain with the truck.

That’s the thing,Brinks armored vehicles generally don’t hang out around truck stops, especially Flying Js,especially with a high value load like jewelry! The only time I’ve seen armored cars at truck stops is if they’re collecting money at ATMs or from the safes-and even then they don’t hang around any longer than they have to!

The Brinks drivers dropped the ball there, and that statement is assuming there wasn't a conspiracy.

I typed my response and didn't even see yours but you beat me to it. I 100 percent agree with you. If there wasn't a plan for that thievery, I don't know how common sense doesn't kick in to guard that stuff with all you got. Even when I haul high dollar freight, I get where i need to be ASAP. I had a Nike load once and drove right by the house because I didn't want to hold it for long.

I’ve had medical loads like that. Johnson & Johnson in particular doesn’t want drivers to stop for anything within the first 100 miles-baby formula ain’t cheap, and that was BEFORE the pandemic and supply chain issues!!

I hauled one high dollar load for Crusty. There's was no screwing around. Had to witness the loading of the trailer. We were monitored from pickup to delivery.

Sorry. I ate that entire donut already.

The article seems to be saying that there was only one driver and no guard on the truck.
