Yeah, I figured you were just running your mouth and I didn't take the post seriously. A good friend of mine, the area supervisor for Penske, didn't care much for it though.JoeyJunk and SmallPackage Thank this. -
Safety Manager? Yes due to the current COVID situation and the generally filthy manner the previous driver left his truck on, I do not feel safe driving this truck. Make sure you record this conversation, I think you will need it when you go in front of the labor board.
Lots of apps out there for recording conversations. -
The ordeal may be winding up. It started Tuesday when I was confronted with the filthy truck. I spent the next three days at the Motel6 on the company's dime. My own truck won't be fixed till next week. They have another company truck at the dealership that just got completed and supposedly isn't a filth nest. I'm going to transfer to it and get rolling. I always dread changing trucks because I have quite a bit of gear. But it's in bags and tossing it over won't take long. The DM is singing a different tune now. He's thanking me for my patience. And apologize five times for trying to put me in the trashed truck.
I'm hoping that the next truck is in fact livable. If it's another rat hole, we'll be back to square one.jethro712, Magoo1968, Cattleman84 and 2 others Thank this. -
They should have tracked him down and charged him with vandalism.
I once walked from a small time company that had me in a 16 year old ex Schneider truck that finally broke down for good. When I left a placed a roll of toilet paper on the dash. I posted about that, it was about four years ago. I got a lot of laughs from the gang here . especially from the picture I took -
