I'm 50 and lately I've been very stressed...Today I had dispatch do me dirty over a load so I called the supervisor to talk to him...I actually started hyperventilating while talking to him..That was about 8 hours ago...my head has been in some kind of stress headache since...It feels like there's all kinds of pressure on my head

Wherever I end up, I'll hopefully will not have to deal with these cameras that communicate with the trucks taking over the controls. To me that's very dangerous. Having a camera that records traffic in front of you is good, having a camera that takes over the operation of the truck is insanely stupid dangerous and very annoying.

It's not quite as bad as what some are making it sound. To avoid having the safety features automatically engage, it simply requires watching the road far enough ahead to know what is coming. It also requires paying attention to vehicles around the truck, not just those in front. If your style of driving is hammer down and go, slowing down for nothing, then any collision avoidance system is going to be problematic for you. As an aside, that style of driving has been scientifically proven to cause more collisions, cause more maintenance issues for the truck, cause lower fuel mileage, and cause more stress for the driver.

These computer assisted trucks don't cause collisions. Bad driver behaviors cause collisions. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to avoid taking responsibility for a collision.
