I'am sure they hauled livestock before they got in the reefer business
They have been around along time .. I've goten cattle loads from they once in awhile for the last 25 years
Like I said in my 1st post they have been good with me always.. I have dealt with Justin alot he's always been up front and honest with me
I would guess the reefer side is probably run just as good

And this is precisely the reason I don't and won't run reefer anymore.

When you run produce especially you gotta get that stuff there and it dont matter day night etc...so what you need to do driver is find a job that suits how you like to run....so maybe dedicated with drop and Hook options and flexibility so you'll be comfortable....I want you to know it's ok that you know your driving limits and capabilities that's a good thing.....good luck driver....you'll find the right thing that suits you...its plenty of companies out here.....keep your record clean you can go anywhere...Me I just like to truck I dont care what it is....it's a lifestyle for me and many of us out here which is ok too.... stay safe driver...God Bless....

B@R which stands for Brian and Rick has a long history with Minnesota carrier enforcement.
In the 70s they were Stewart livestock , in the 80s they got caught removing usda tags from condemned cattle going to slaughter in Maryland.
Then the name changed to H@R Stewart livestock which stood for Harold and Rick.
After they're authority got revoked it became B@R.

Never heard the name but in my 27 years in trucking business, I have known several companies with the same kind of (AKA) names that were shady as hell.

I heard it was the buyer they pulled for that got caught pulling tags.. but they were aware of what was going on so Uncle Sam made a example of them .so they sold Stewart Livestock to H&R.. then the paper trail caught up ....
The Feds leaned on MCE to pull their authority.. so it then Becacame B&R.. that's the story that floated around anyhow.. I pulled a few loads when it was H&R.. always got paid... I was just pulling for the check..and happy they had something to get me out of BFE...back then .. I hauled a load of fats this spring for them they were good looking Cattle
Them boners going to Maryland were destin to go overseas in a box anyhow
No USA citizen's were harmed in the making of that hamburger

My step father was leased to Stewart's about 20 years and man what a soap opera that family was !
I think they taught the mafia how to steal lol.
After my mother and step father split he married Nancy Stewart who is Rick and Brian's sister .
