Is atldiesel.com a trusted supplier? Also is the 0R7653 from cat a reman? Or does that just mean they require my core back?

I have had same guys buy cams from ATL and they look good, still running. Reserved but I have a brother that is a VW nut. He had a 1.7L stroked and the head was $2,200 about 28 years ago It had two duel side draft 40 MM Maconnies ( like a Webber ). It would run up to around 100 MPH in third and had two left. The folks that did the crank used a welding process to built the crank and then ground it to the longer stroke. That scarred the crap out of me but they said it was good for 8,000 RPM. Not just a shift point but all day long. It was fun to drive. I thank they redo cams about the same way.spsauerland, Sixamskier and AModelCat Thank this.
