Tolls on 80 , 90, 76 , 78 and 95 along with cheap outbound rates are why I pulled the plug on NY, NJ and PA last April, I almost made a career of out of omaha to the northeast and back .
A lot of good memories but it just isn't worth the hassle anymore when I can run Columbus Ohio and back for the same money and not have to deal with Chicago.Another Canadian driver, nredfor88, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
I read an article last year that said tolls would continue to increase until 2050 or something like that. It's only a matter of time before US 22 becomes the main route east and west again because I76 is too expensive

Compare the PA pike to the Ohio turnpike, it costs like $60 to run the whole Ohio pike and it's actually a very nice road with giant service plazas. Then you cross into PA and can barely fit 30 trucks into the plazas on the EB side, plus have to battle the endless curvesVampire, 86scotty, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this.
