Broker must really need it moved. He had it at $10k yesterday... Just shows you how much they really got in these loads... Fifth Wheel Freight is the Broker.

 

Broker must not be able to read a map. It's closer to 3500 miles, not the 1305 they have listed

 

I have seen a lot of loads like that in the past. Always wanted to get into it at sometime in my trucking life. Will have to do a lot of homework to be able to do those kind of loads. Just think it would be a great drive more than anything.

I agree, and have been tempted in the past to take a load there. Definitely on my to-do list, some day.

 

Years back I was offered a chance to haul from Fort Bragg NC to Fort Wainwright AK. Nearly $28k all in for a connex and some little fuel trailers (hazmat load because of those). It was actually about this time that year and my father said I should. I was still hesitant so I called one of my other mentors up that had run up there from southern CA a few times. He said to use the money as down payment on a new truck, because the roads would beat the #### of my old 377 bad enough I may not even make it up there. I respected his opinion very highly and turned down the load.

I’ve kicked myself more times over that decision than I can count. I really would like to see that part of the world. Bonus if I can do it in a rig just to say that I have.
