I stopped at freightliner and purchased this battery. Three day ago I had purchased one exact like this at TA Lebo, KS . It was little expansive than 950CCA starting battery($85). As soon as I get home I will buy 2 more same as this one ... 2.jpg 1.jpg 5.jpg

That's from over charging. When you overcharge your batteries they swell up like that. Check your charging volts. Much more than 14.1 v will do that over time. Could be voltage regulator, wiring or alternator. My volt meter in the cab reads 14.6 to 14.7 and all my batteries looked like that when I replaced them.

Got my Maxwell a while back but didn't install it till earlier this year. I've had to jump my truck 3 times so far from the main batteries draining. However I was able to jump with a car twice and a jump pack because you only need to charge the Maxwell. Time to replace my main batteries though...

Read through the whole thread and found that noone mentioned starter batteries versus deep cycle batteries. If you have an inverter you will want deep cycle batteries. Those are best rated in Ah rather than CCA. If you use normal starter batteries with an inverter they will wear out in as little as a few months!
