Rectangular headlights on any Pete were and are a mistake. I do not like the new eye shaped lights on the current Peterbilts. They remind me of the girls that are wearing stupidly long fake eyelashes. Just my opinion.

And I think when KW went from double round headlights to square headlights they also messed up the look of the W900.

Yeah. The B model from the sexxxy A was hard to swallow.
My thoughts are the wrecktangle shaped lights that came out on everything in ‘84 time frame messed up all the old school trucks back then. So I generally look at ‘83 on back as classics only. Even the Coe K100’s, Pete 352’s and Freightliner FLT8664’s lost there style with them too in ‘84.

Wow! Roger “Blackie” Parsons used to own the red and black KW with the pin striped flames on it. I think it was originally a ‘58. He used to haul bridge beams all over the state with it. He had that truck for over 30 years. He passed away around 2010 and was running it up to his passing and then his wife sold off all his stuff. RIP.

The butterfly hoods make it a pain to work on somethings. But they provide a little shade and shelter and I ain’t gonna tell you how many times I fell asleep laying on the fender just admiring the engine. Lol!
