I am getting unloaded but typical corporate move they pulled. Keep passing the buck. Last night it was Pepsi setting up the lumper. Today it turns into the broker paying for lumper just like a normal unload. If this was going to be the case, we could have done this yesterday. Oh well. Either way I didn’t restack the crap and nothing coming out of my pocket.

Now these lumpers are supposedly local drunks. They don’t have normal jobs and are always available. The dock guy said they even bragged about buying a pallet of beer once LOL. Can’t wait to see this duo. They will be sweating booze out all over trailer.

Kind of funny. I couldn’t leave trailer on property last night due to liability issues (they don’t have any drop and hook from outside carriers) but they will let some goofball drunks on dock to restack pallets. Makes perfect sense. :biggrin_2556:

The lumper showed up. Looks exactly like I thought he would. Fat hillbilly. T shirt too small. Dirty grass mowing shoes. Already bragged about a full trailer he did by himself. This guy did not disappoint.

Pepsi loads are the worst for tipping. I always wondered where they found their loaders, as they more often than not need some work upon arrival at the destination. Some of the most asinine reasoning in how the product is loaded, no spatial awareness, nor do they seem to understand physics in the slightest.

Who cares? I wouldn't care if he had a beer in his hand and was wearing a toto as long as he did the job fast and correctly...lol

I care because I knew what was in store, a long wait. He bragged about how fast they are. Only on second pallet. I did just one yesterday by myself. I was faster.

Come to think of it he was bragging on the phone call too as I barley could hear him because his mother was in the background running her mouth. Yup. Stereotypical white trash. I wish picking lottery numbers was as easy as judging people off a phone call. Im pretty good at that.

It looks to me like the load shifted from taking a turn too fast.
