I'm sorry... If you are not stopping in Nashville take Hwy 155 (exit 43 off I-24) around to I-40. WAY better option than going through downtown. Hyw 155 is a Parkway... I cant remember what the first part if the name is... sonething Parkway.

Even at 0200 Nashvill can be a nightmare... I would take Exit 43 to 155 East and ride it all the way around to get back on I-24 south of Nashville. It's a pretty peaceful drive at that tine of morning.

Dang. Can u tell i am used to running out west lol I appreciate your advice and i will take that bypass around instead. I am way out of my element down here. Even the people look at me like i have 3 heads. Probably think im from california

Lol... Its been over a year since I been back that there, I dont miss it much. But I DO remember trying to figure out the best ways to get around bad traffic areas. My basic rule of thumb, East of the big river... ALWAYS take the bypass.
