“The cause of the crash remains under investigation”

they better get Columbo on this right away or they might never figure out why it happened .

The crazy part is that looks like a mini ex. Which can be hauled on a flatbed no problem and still be under height. I wonder how the hell they struck a bridge so hard

Look at the section on the arm that forms an “A”. That sucker is bent! Even though the bucket may have been secured the arm itself must’ve been sticking up high enough to cause all of that damage! Also,I’m curious as to how the trackhoe itself was secured-if it had any securement at all!

You almost have to think this wasn't a trucking company at all? I'd almost bet money it was one of those dip #### landscape companies that think a piece of rope over equipment is enough securement

It's a rubber track mini hoe. Probably didn't know how to tie down a rubber track plus over height.

buddyd157, FerrissWheel and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Looks a little big for a mini. Probably an 8-ton class unit if I had to guess.

FerrissWheel, okiedokie and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

That overpass may very well have to be replaced in it’s entirety, judging by all the rebar that’s been exposed!!
