    Hi all -

Working on purchasing my 2nd truck and was wondering if you all have had any experience with the Eaton Ultrashift 10 speed auto transmission- in terms of fuel economy. I had my heart set on a 12 spd, but do these newer 10 speed transmissions do ok? Anybody see a difference in fuel consumption?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

You're Way better getting the 12 spd endurant.
    The warranty is 5yr/750k

    VS 3/300 for a 10 spd ultra.

The power transfer efficiency is also a little better.
The Endurant also uses a computer modulated clutch instead of the jerky centrifugal one used in the Ultrashift.

Avoid like the plague the 10 speed with centrifugal clutch. They are horrible due to rough engagement.
Ask what type of clutch do they have first.
