I need some help with this problem. I have a 2005 freightliner century class s/t Detroit 60 series. I was on my way to pick up a load, then the back of my truck caught on fire ,burning my air lines( it only burnt some of the air lines on the driver rear side.
Now that I have the air lines back connected it won't build air, but it was building air as it should before the fire. I had to get it towed,so is it something they disconnect? Please I need to work without taking it to the PIMPS.
Thanks!!!

I'm sure it's just a line that was missed or maybe one of your air tanks has a valve open or a plug out

You need to air it up without the engine running. You'll find it quick

Start with all emergency buttons pulled out, Rev it up to hi idle and look if dash gauges are showing any air pressure, but look at the air pressure reg. to see if it's gone bad, it's a cheap part and can be changed with a tool kit and just look at where the plugs are put in same holes and you should be building air in a few minutes
