Just a guess based on how I would secure a truck. I'd think those chains are 2 separate tiedowns that are direct attached around the front axle.

I was hoping some more people would respond because I can’t make up my mind on this one. My initial reaction was HOLY CRAP, but on the other hand.... it seems straight and he made it that far so it must be holding together... maybe it’s ok? :dontknow:

I feel like every row at least on the top layer should have a strap through it, but as someone else mentioned they are banded together, so at least there is something holding them. Idk, I think if I saw this in person I’d probably just turn the other way and pretend I didn’t see it.

My hesitation would still be about possible highway incident, those are tires right? It's not like they are really bound to the deck as if caged.

Ya I get it, they are strapped & strapped as a bond to each other, but straps stretch under impact, and rubber gives plenty of added flex.

    Not for me boy!!

I’m assuming tires as well. And I mentioned it looks straight in the pic, but that’s sitting still so who knows what it looks like bouncing down the road. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near it that’s for sure! LOL

    CAXPT and cke Thank this.

They are tires mounted on split rims for mobile houses/ trailers. When it’s hot this trucks just follow all the shanty shuttlers around because they need a new tire every few miles.

What really bugs me is a condo pulling a flatbed with no headache rack, it just doesn’t look right. I guarantee that guy leaves his straps on his winches.

Oh and the loose bricks of course.
