Less the 4" clearance i navigated quite a few of them fine at a 285" wb tractor pulling a stretch with a 3-4 setting of close to 65 feet..
The curb and apron design matters obviously, but if a 4" in 8' offset is too much for you... i dont know what to tell you

That’s 16 wide. Kansas routes you through circles with high curbs.
Took this thru one in Colorado. Caused a good traffic jam.

in my post I did not mention any outcome of the studies, or what my personal preference was.
Since I am licensed and live in Indiana, I was aware of the law that @JonJon78 posted, hence my statement of how to negotiate them here
I am a native of NJ and also know that there they have been removing "traffic circles" dating from the 1930's, which is precisely the same engineering design because the studies there were done, and at a certain traffic density and beyond, they are less safe and efficient.Coffey, nredfor88, classic_150 and 1 other person Thank this. -
With this huge number of roundabouts, it’s likely to increase impatient 4-wheeler jerk frustration.
