Yes. Much better than the current. I still just went in with an 8-10 man team. You need the football rocket. Forget its name. Punch a hole in the back. Instead of going down the kill corridor.

There's a "spiritual" remake in process. But nothing compares to the microprose version.

 

I remember that football rocket. Now that you mention it, I think I did adapt a strategy like what you described... eventually. Those bottlenecked hallways of death, yeah, bodies would pile up if I tried to push through. A brave push... but also stupid and unnecessary.

I also remember when I invaded those bases, half of my time would be spent looking for that one last alien that's standing off in some corner, refusing to move. LOL

 

The fatal funnel... that's good, I like that.

I did try to bait the AI by trying to trigger an attack event. Usually by shooting at walls or tossing a grenade. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not.

And the football rocket would make make smoke which blinded me, but not the aliens. You would think it would blind them too, but it didn't.

Sometimes after blowing a hole in the back, I could then push up the fatal funnel. I tried to go in at atleast two different ways at the same time.

As droll as it sounds, it was always some rookie or a squaddie that I commanded to run through first to use up the "reaction points."

 

xbox and PS sucks!!!! i got acer nitro leptop playing sometimes COD warzone/coldwar/vanguard 144 hz got around 120-165 fps in all of them

 

My brother told me about this site where you can buy games a bit cheaper...CDkeys.com. Sometimes the games is not on there but, in some instances it does get put on the site.

Im an animal lover and have been playing this game called "Stray". Its pretty fun lol

 

So I ended up saving myself $500. Got Elden Ring and was loving it. But it started having serious frame loss on my PC. Which is well speced. Found it is not well optimized for the PC. So I figured I'd bite the bullet and get an Xbox.

However, I decided to try a clean install of my Nvidia driver. Guess what? That fixed the issue.

So I suggest when you get new drivers. Don't do a simple update. Instead do a clean update.

 

Farthest Frontier on Steam , fun city builder . It's in Early release but it's a #### good game .
