It was the SAM module on my 2016 Cascadia. Seems to be common as the dealer knew exactly what it was before they even pulled it into the bay. I think the bill was a couple grand. Didn't look too closely as to how much was labor as I wasn't paying the bills.
My truck never suffered any leaks, not that I noticed anyway, even after a couple windshield replacements -
Ok, so I disconnected the battery to kill the lights and give the computer a chance to reset. I reconnected the battery and everything is now functioning normally.
I’ll keep an eye on things and give an update if it starts acting up again. Thanks for all of the feedback.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
I've worked with many new drivers that expect the company or road service to send a mechanic out to them to change a fuse. If you can check or change a fuse you can reduce a few hour delay, or Out of Service, to a 30 minute fuse change.
When a turn signal or Hazard light is flshing rapidly, that USUALLY means one light somewhere in the circuit is burned out. -

What all the previous posters fail to realize is that all this stuff is computer controlled.
When your computer starts messing up, the first thing you do is reboot it. Right?
In the truck it means using the battery kill switch, then turning it back on after a few minutes.
Reboot the system.
If the problem persists after that, then start looking for all the bad relays and connections and other stuff.jldilley Thanks this. -

The problem I had did not come back.
Sometimes it really is that simple.jldilley Thanks this. -

Sam Cab module.
I bought the part but it needed some dealer programming.
