I was 5 miles from my delivery in Elwood, IL this morning when my truck broke down.
A load thumping noise from the engine.

The only dealer that didn't have 1-3 weeks wait was here in Hampshire. That was an 85 mile tow.
I'm at the Super 8 tonight, hoping that they have time tomorrow to diagnose it.

I called at around 10 this morning to see if they had the chance to diagnose my truck.
    I was shocked.
It was fixed and ready to be picked up.

The #4 cylinder bridge fell off.
I don't know what that part is or does, but I guess it was a pretty easy fix.

So back on the road by 1200 with a load to a Costco in St. Louis, MO, which is where I'm at tonight.

    York, NE.

What a pain in the butt it is here.
This is probably the worst state for T-Mobile.
Over the years things have improved in many states, but so far not Nebraska.
A 4G LTE signal (with my 5G hotspot) with 1 or 2 bars, and the only site I seem to connect with is TTR because it is basically text only.
Even my phone is wonky. I had to reboot it to make a call to customer service, and during the call it lost the connection. Didn't work after that.
It's like being back to 2G in a bad area.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

    North Platte, NE tonight.
No T-Mobile signal here so it is roaming with Cell One, but a much better signal than at York with the T-Mobile connection.

After sitting for nearly 5 hours I finally got a pplan.
It is supposed to pick up by midnight tonight, but I'm ignoring the pick up time.
Pre-loaded and with a trailer number, with plenty of time for delivery. I'll get it in the morning.
200 miles to the shipper, and if they expected me to pick it up today they should have sent it to me hours ago - instead of at 1630.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

jurupa valley terminal at the shop.
is it just my bad luck or what?
pickimg up another trailer here and has 2 low tires. not all the way flat.
and the self imflatimg system there is a missing hose that goes to one of the low tires.
